The experience
The island, entirely yours
There is no seat number here and no one else on board. On a private flight the helicopter is reserved for your party: your pilot briefs you before take-off, and then the whole island opens up through the panoramic windows.
We are a licensed Mauritian tour operator, and we arrange every flight with Mauritius Helicopter Limited. You tell us the date and who is coming, and we take care of the paperwork with the operator.

How it works
We arrange everything

Send your request
Choose your flight and date at least 7 days ahead, with the exact name, passport number, gender, date of birth, nationality, email and exact weight of each passenger, plus a next of kin and their mobile number.

We deal with the operator
Eternis Tours submits your details to Mauritius Helicopter Limited for flight approval, and confirms your departure site and any landing fee.
03
You fly
Once the operator approves, you get your confirmation by email. If weather or a technical issue cancels the flight, your flight is refunded.

At least 7 days before the flight. Every flight needs approval from Mauritius Helicopter Limited, and you are not booked until we confirm.
What information do you need?
Each passenger's exact name, passport number, gender, date of birth, nationality, email, exact weight, and next of kin name and mobile number.
Is the helicopter private?
Scenic flights are private: the fare covers the whole helicopter for up to 4 guests, with a supplement for a 5th and 6th guest. From Bel Ombre or the airport, the Underwater Waterfall flight can be shared unless you pay for 6 seats.
Where do flights leave from?
From authorised sites in the North, South, East, West and at Avalon, or from the airport at a different fare. Tell us your preferred site in the request.
What if the weather is bad?
If the operator cancels for weather, technical or operational reasons, your flight is refunded. You can also move the date free of charge up to 24 hours before, subject to availability.
Are there extra landing fees?
Landing fees may apply at heliports and helipads. At Bel Ombre they are 85 EUR per exclusive flight, 22 EUR per passenger on sharing flights, and 140 EUR per Heli-Lunch or Heli-Golf flight.
How much baggage can I bring?
On the H125: 2 suitcases (75 x 50 x 30 cm) and 2 cabin bags (60 x 40 x 25 cm), or 5 cabin bags, depending on weight.
