How much does Ebony Forest cost?

From Rs 260 for the Green Loop and Rs 510 for Take a Hike, up to Rs 4,260 for the Sundowner with tree planting, per adult. Children 5–17 pay a reduced rate and children under 5 go free. These are Ebony Forest’s official 2026 rates, VAT included.

Do I need to book in advance?

The Green Loop and Take a Hike are confirmed instantly. Take a Drive, Bird Watching, the Guided Trek, Love Tree and the Sundowners must be booked ahead: we confirm your time with Ebony Forest first. Please book at least 2 days ahead.

When is Ebony Forest open?

Every day including public holidays, 09:00 to 17:00. Take a Drive and Love Tree leave at 09:30, 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30; the Sundowners run in the late afternoon.

Where is Ebony Forest?

On the 7 Coloured Earth Road in Chamarel, in the south-west of Mauritius. Transport is not included — we can add a private transfer or a full-day south tour.

Can we book a private visit?
