Tamarind Falls (7 Cascades) Hike
Guided forest hike to five of the waterfalls of Tamarind Falls (7 Cascades), the tallest waterfall system in Mauritius, with a swim.
Hike through tropical forest of palms and banana trees to Tamarind Falls, also called the 7 Cascades — in fact 13 waterfalls dropping around 300 metres in total, the tallest waterfall system in Mauritius.
On this 3-hour tour you visit five of the falls and can swim in one of them, with views over the surrounding mountains, rivers and forest.

- The meeting point is not the trailhead: you follow the guide by taxi or car to the start, about 1.5 km away.

What to bring
- Hiking or sports shoes with good grip (no open-toe shoes)
- Comfortable sportswear and a light rain jacket
- Sunscreen, a hat and insect repellent
- At least 1.5 litres of water per person (mandatory)
- A light snack (cereal bar or fruit)
- Swimsuit and towel (optional)
Not suitable for pregnant women, children under 10, people with knee problems, limited mobility or serious medical conditions.
