Île des Deux Cocos is a tiny private island in the turquoise lagoon of the Blue Bay Marine Park, on the south-east coast of Mauritius. Once the hideaway of a British governor, it is now one of the most exclusive day trips on the island – white sand, crystal-clear water, coral gardens and a Moorish-style villa from 1920, with only a limited number of guests each day.
Your all-inclusive day (usually 10:00 – 15:30)
Welcome cocktail on arrival.
Sumptuous buffet lunch from 12:30 to 14:30: salads and anti-pasti, fishermen soup, wood-fire grill and teppanyaki (BBQ chicken, dorado fillet, beef teppanyaki, jumbo prawns), live wok station, pizza, Mauritian sides and a full dessert table.
Unlimited local drinks all day: water, soft drinks, juices, local beer, house wine, local spirits, cocktails and homemade flavoured rums.
Snorkelling among the corals and tropical fish of the marine park, or a glass-bottom boat trip – both included.
Free island activities: beach volley, frisbee, giant chess, bocce, badminton and archery.
Visit of the 1920 colonial villa built by Governor Hesketh Bell (subject to availability).
